The staff are really lovely & friendly. You will get the biggest cake slices you’ve ever seen, far more generous than most mainstream cafes. Outside and inside seating. “ I visited the Tulip Tree with my son and our two dogs for brunch. Excellent food, service and ambience, as always. Everyone is so friendly. We like sitting on the decking at the back where the dogs are happiest, but they are welcome anywhere in the tea room - which makes it such a convenient stop off on a dog walk in the beautiful countryside around Chiddingstone. Highly recommended, thank you. ”
“ Great place for cyclist and secure. Can get very busy depending in time if day, Before noon is proberly best time yo beat the ques but can be different at weekend. Excellent cake and coffee as well as hit food. Staff are polite and welcoming I'm my opinion. Others may differ. ”
“ We love the Tulip Tree and go there very regularly. Today I had the new waffles with fruit dish from the breakfast menu which was excellent! The waffles were delicious and the dish included a very generous portion of fruit (I added a bit of their delicious homemade granola on top from a sample they were giving out). Make sure you get there before 12pm as it is only on the breakfast menu. They also do a savoury version with bacon and eggs. My husband enjoyed the ciabatta breakfast roll with delicious Southborough sausage and the King’s favourite free range bacon which is served all day! ”
“ What a beautiful Tea Room, we were told about the Tulip and just had to experience it ourselves, even though we left it late on Sunday afternoon and the menu was in short supply, what food we did have was wonderful, the service was brilliant and staff very friendly, will definitely be going again , but next time earlier in the day. Thank you for a peaceful setting and wonderful coffee and cake. ”
